In these past three weeks, I have been learning stuff like crazy! First, three weeks ago today, I learned how to drive my mom's automatic Ford Focus... I am fantastic ;) Last week, I learned that Adam (from Adam and Eve) had a bellybutton in Seminary. Believe it or not, I actually learned a lot and that was the most spiritual lesson we have had all year... I love that class. And lastly, I am staying with my mom this weekend. Today, she brought out a guitar and a ukulele that used to be her boyfriend/fiance's dads and I am learning how to play the uke. So far, I can play C, A, F, and G7, and learning how to play "You and I" by Ingrid Michealson. Its so fun!!! Oh, I am learning so much!

Oh and P.S., one of my good friends Melanie has been sick since July 24 with double pneumonia, an infection, and stomach illness. She is back in the hospital for the third time right now, so if you could please keep her in your prayers I'm sure that would help!!! Thank You!!!

Old and New Friends
Excuse me if this post is a bit more serious than the other ones... I was reading my friend Melissa's blog just barely and I miss her. So, if you are reading this Melissa, just know that I miss you and Melanie and all of my AF buddies!!! I am having fun at Lone Peak, my classes are mostly all right, but my two favorites are Sports/Entertainment Marketing and Chinese. I am not really understanding anything the Chinese teacher says, but I have friends and a brother (Brian... that would be you) in that class! And hey, if anybody has any ideas of how to better understand that language, I would LOVE to hear, because it is H-A-R-D! I also have math class with my older sister, Maddy, and to anyone that knows her, you understand how fun that would be ;P. To lighten this one up a little more, who wants to hear a joke??? Even if you don't, here it goes...
Knock Knock!
Who's there?
Tank!
Tank who?
YOU'RE WELCOME!
Haha, I love that joke, it just never gets old...

New School
One word: BIG. Honestly, I am loving it at Lone Peak, (not that I have anything against AF, because I dont). I will post pics later, but I just thought I had to say a broad description of my first two weeks there. More details to come!!!

This is my ADORABLE new puppy!!! We got him on sunday... his name is Cooper... HE IS JUST SO DANG ADORABLE I CAN'T EVEN STAND IT! Anyway, he is only 4 months old, but still huge! (I apologize for my lack of fashion here... I wasn't aware that we would be taking a picture when I put my PJs on :D)
Hopefully you can tell that this is supposed to be a butterfly... I got duct tape for babysitting once, and I used it to decorate my backpack. Isn't it just great? It took me like three hours to cut out and tape on all that duct tape... but it's worth it! (right?)
And last of all: today, we celebrated my little sister (and my mom)'s birthdays by going to Chuck-E-Cheese's. The only thing I was excited for was this picture thing, and I love it! If you couldn't tell, I am the one on the far left, then the middle is my cousin Lexi (she just got her braces), and the far right is my little sister Darby. Well yep, that is my summary of the week!!!! Oh and p.s. I AM SO EXCITED FOR SCHOOL!!! Lone Peak, watch out! I'm coming in like a STORM, baby!!!

A post with absolutely no meaning :|
Well, I have decided that it has been long enough since I have posted. Even if I didn't do anything nearly as cool as petting a zebra today. Well, I babysat twice today, which I guess is newsworthy. I'm trying to write a song. Not succeeding. Ok, I guess that's it!

My Epic Day
Yes, this is me. And yes, this is a real zebra. And it's not even in a zoo. There is this lady who owns cats, dogs, parrots, turtles, a goat, two emus, and, wait for it, a zebra, ALL IN HER BACKYARD. My aunt Heidi took me to see her... she is pretty much awesome. She wants to buy a giraffe. If I were her, I would want a giraffe also. But before that, we were at this Young Womens group in Draper, teaching them a dance, and my 6 year old cousin got stung 6 times by a bee. Sad, huh? Yup, and that is pretty much my day!!!

My Very First Post...
Hello World!!!
This is my very first post, so don't expect too much! This is a blog where I can just write about everyday triumphs, failures, and a little bit of everything else for my friends and family that don't see me everyday. So, here we go, into the magical world of blogging...
