BACK TO SCHOOL!!!

I realize my lack of posts, and I am soooooooo sorry!!! But ok, some new changes in my life: I moved to Alpine, UT (only like five minutes away from my last home), school started... and umm I WENT TO HOMECOMING!!! It was basically super exciting!! My sister megan has some awesome pictures she took of me and my homecoming date Tanner Sheide before the dance on her blog lovedmemoriesphoto.blogspot.com. They are AMAZING!!! But it was great, and my date was a super awesome guy!!! So yup, I will try and update more throughout the school year. BYE!

I'm Back!!!

I'M SORRY!!! I'm so sorry for the lack of posts! I know, it's been awhile... but I have a (kind of) good excuse. Umm... I blame it on homework. And the rest of school work. And... well... you know. HOWEVER, school ends (for me) on Friday!!! GAHHH!!! I am so excited!!! I officially have three days left of school and they are all short days! I am super psyched for the summer, and all my fun activities that I have planned, including (drum roll please): Youth Conference, Girls Camp, my ACT test :/, my BIRTHDAY, and a family reunion on both my mom and dads side. As I mentioned before, my birthday is coming up... that is, my sixteenth birthday... which means that I will be officially dateable exactly two months from Friday!!! Oh gosh, I am so excited! I will try and keep you posted over the summer... wish me luck on the last bit of school!

It's a Very Merry Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS FELLOW MEMBERS OF PLANET EARTH! Umm, what to talk about, what to talk about... well, for starters, we recently celebrated an early Christmas at my mom's house. While doing this, I got a new karaoke machine... guess who was singing Rockin' Robin for a half hour today? Ha! So, flashback like a week and a half ago, I was really just doing nothing, so I decided to invite my friend Celest over to my mom's house. We did a breakfast with Mr. Santa Clause (some of you might know him...), a stake dance here in Herriman, and... a PHOTOSHOOT! You see, Celest wants to be a model, and since my mom is a photographer, she agreed to "dapple" a little bit... here are some pictures of her and I, see what you think:

Long Time, No See

I apologize for my lack of pictures/posts, but when you are a high school sophomore, you've kinda got a lot on your plate (or your binder, pretty much the same thing!) Anyway, you could probably guess why i haven't written in my journal for about six months either... well, some news. My friend Melanie is doing a lot better, and even going back to school! Lone Peak won the 5A state football championships, and the quarterback, Chase Hansen, was voted Mr. Football for the state of Utah. I am loving my Chinese class, because it's just a blast! OK, I will probably write more later this week! I love you all! 再见!

Just Catching Up

I apologize for my lack of recent posts... just been kind of busy with school, sports, blah blah blah... Anyway, update time! So I started softball in August and just ended it like 3 weeks ago. I am taking Chinese right now and it's a blast, the class I am in is so funny! We are just ending the first term of school, and I have all A's (happy day!). I dyed my hair brown, and I like it a lot! I am getting into the spirit of Lone Peak now... went to two football games, and we pretty much dominated both the teams! To those who don't know about Lone Peak (and I'm talking about my out of state family here, not those of you like Melissa or Landon), our football team is undefeated, ranked number one in the state! Our basketball team is ranked number eight in the nation, our girls soccer team got third place in state, and our golf team got second. Our volleyball team is expected to go all the way to state and win it, which will be our eighth consecutive year winning it. Also, our seminary program is the biggest in the world, student wise. GO KNIGHTS!!! (hehe, sorry cavemen) Anyway, who wants to hear a funny joke? You do! So, a man was at the World Series baseball game, sitting right behind the outfield on the first row. The rest of the stands were filled, but the seat next to him was empty. A second man came up to him and said, "excuse me, is this your seat?" The first man said, "Yes, you can sit in it. I was saving this seat for my wife, but sadly, she passed away." The second man replied saying, "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! Why didn't you invite any of your friends or family?" The first man looked up and said, "Nah, they're all at the funeral!"
Horrible, right???? Darby, my little sister, told me that one. Anyway, I'm going to put a picture on of me with my newly dyed brown hair. Wa-la!
